Roles and Responsibilities
Should have worked in real time projects
Should be able to perform Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL DBA and Development (complex development/handling transactions)
Strong hands on experience in Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL Installations, Upgradation, Performance Tuning, Backup and Recovery, and implementing high availability solutions.
Should be good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure and writing queries with best method
Should be good in Oracle RAC & SQL Server Transactional Replication & Log Shipping and trouble shooting
Should be good in performance using different methodologies(Index fragmentation, Table statics analysis, recommendation on File groups and Temp DB optimizations)
Installed and configured MS SQL Server Clustering and MySQL installation and replication configurations
Experience in Relational and Data Modeling and Design, develop, test, implement, fine-tune, enhance and maintain new and existing databases
Performing in-place and side-by-side migration
Should be good in on HADR (High availability and Disaster recovery) always on availability groups.
Should be good in Responsible for database backup and restore, monitor production servers activity, problem solving, scheduled jobs, SQL Server Error Logs and Space Usage.
Understanding the business requirements and communicating them to the team. Managing the impact of any changes to the requirements
Should be good in storage management and capacity management
Providing 24/7 On-Call support for critical production server
